We came across this tree when we lived in Spain. The more we researched it, the more we were blown away by it. Then, we ended up growing it, eating it and giving it to all our friends and neighbors. This superfood has been used for thousands of years to treat many diseases and ailments.
Moringa is also called the miracle tree (because of its alleged healing properties) the drumstick tree (the shape of its fruit) the ben oil tree (moringa oil) and the horseradish tree (from its roots). It grows easily in hot countries, it loves poor soil, and reaches 2 meters in height from nothing in one season. It is also drought-resistant. It doesn’t need any pesticides or fertilizers to make it grow – in fact, the opposite. The leaves can be harvested in just 6-8 weeks after planting and takes the same amount of time for the leaves to grow back. A truly phenomenal plant.

We take it every day. It is my belief that it can help to reduce the effects of coronavirus because of its healing qualities. It is extraordinary. We even tried the seeds for water purification purpose and it works! When you see the awesome properties of this plant/tree, you will, without doubt, want to get some for yourself.
A 2014 study published in “Journal of Food Science and Technology” found that consuming 1½ teaspoons of moringa powder every day for 12 weeks significantly increased antioxidant levels in the blood.

If you like smoothies, you can mix the powder in. If you like salads, you eat the leaves raw. You can crush the seeds for oil (but you will need lots of them to make a decent amount of oil. You can also take it in capsule form, as the dried powder has quite a strong taste.
You can buy moringa in various forms on eBay. Look for a reputable seller.
The other thing we will be doing is growing our own moringa in our greenhouse and conservatory, so we can eat the fresh leaves. Plant them in April and May, in pots. Treat them as an annual plant, so don’t try to overwinter them unless you live in Kew Gardens! In the short growing season, they should reach at least a meter high, and provide you with lots of fresh nutrition, on top of the capsules that you should take.

NOTE: You need to do your moringa capsule purchases quickly, as I have noticed the wholesalers are running out of powder. People are realizing that this could just help to reduce or even overcome the effects of this, and other viruses that will no doubt hit us. For example, everywhere is selling out of Vitamin C. Moringa contains 7 times more vitamin C than oranges. Moringa also contains zinc – everywhere is selling out of zinc capsules…..
